Online courses from UPEACE University

The present COVID-19 pandemic is fundamentally altering the way we live, work, and study. Alongside the on-site studies at the campus in Costa Rica – for which you can apply here – UPEACE is also offering a wide array of online courses.

The UPEACE Distance Education Online programme provides several graduate-level courses in Peace and Conflict studies, both for training and for obtaining credits. You can follow these courses in different modalities to fit your needs:

- a full M.A. study in Sustainable Peace in the Contemporary World

- self-learning automated courses.

For an overview of all courses in 2021, see the UPEACE e-learning website DistanceEd here (or check the UPEACE website here).

Additionally, online education is also available from the UPEACE Centre for Executive Education, a special institution within the UPEACE family that offers dynamic courses to nonprofit leaders, business executives, educators at all levels, UN staff and other professional audiences. These online courses focus on Intercultural Communication, Positive Leadership, Negotiation and conflict resolution, and others. You can check the full programme for 2021 here.

Furthermore, the UPEACE Human Rights Centre organizes two online Professional Development Diploma programmes: one is devoted to Human Rights and Forced Displacement, while the other focuses on Sustainable Development and Human Rights. Read more about these programmes here
